The Downtown Orlando Partnership (DOP) is proud to announce the winners of the 26th annual Golden Brick Awards. More than 250 business professionals and community leaders gathered today to celebrate development and community projects that had positively impacted Downtown Orlando in 2014. Thirty five Golden Bricks and eleven Silver Bricks were awarded at the luncheon event. The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, Orlando Citrus Bowl, NORA Apartments and SunRail were also selected to receive the prestigious ‘Award of Excellence’. Rounding out the program, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer recognized Downtowner of the Year (DOTY) winner, Jim Pugh of Epoch properties, and finalists Kelly Cohen, Joe Haleski and Philip Holt.

The Downtown Orlando Partnership is a nonprofit association that seeks to advance Downtown Orlando through collaborative events and initiatives. Established in 1961, the DOP represents and serves the downtown business community through industry programming, civic engagement and strategic partnerships. Each year, the DOP conducts the Golden Brick Awards ceremony and the State of Downtown Address featuring Mayor Buddy Dyer, as well as quarterly downtown lunch & learn events. Additionally, the DOP is a key partner of the Third Thursday Orlando collaboration, which brings thousands to downtown each month for art, food, technology and business.
