Orlando Tech Association's Orlando Tech Week Taking Event Submissions

The Orlando Tech Association, the City of Orlando’s Digital Main Street District, will be holding it’s annual Orlando Tech Week (OTW) this year during April 13 - 18, 2015. The organization is seeking to make 2015’s OTW a Tech Takeover of downtown Orlando. To reach this scale, OTA is calling on Orlando area organizations to hold their own tech-relevant events.

Submission for events is open now through March 13 at orlandotechweek.com/apply.

Events should match the goals of Orlando Tech Week:
  • Provide exposure to Orlando’s startup and tech community on a local, regional and national level.
  • Connect key stakeholders in Orlando's business, creative and technology sectors.
  • Create a fun and exciting experience while celebrating Orlando’s fantastic startup and tech community.
  • Make Orlando a better place through technology.

Organizations chosen to participate in OTW will receive the following, as supported by OTA:
  • Help with promoting and marketing event.
  • A central hub for communication, branding and coordination.
  • Placement in the OTW calendar and website; listing an event is free.
  • Access to network of participants and dozens of venues throughout the city.
  • If needed, assistance in securing a venue, ticketing and other infrastructure.

“Orlando Tech Week is an opportunity to bridge the gap between established tech companies, startups, and the community to showcase how technology is taking over Orlando,” Orrett Davis, Executive Director of OTA, comments about this call to action.
