Free Public Sing-Along of Handel's "Messiah"

The Messiah Choral Society (Web | Twitter) is hosting a free public sing-along of Handel's "Messiah" on Friday, April 10th, 2015 at the First Congregational Church of Winter Park, 225 S. Interlachen Avenue, at 7:30 p.m. 

Loaner scores will be available, and members will also be willing to share.

Their chorusmaster, Karen Lecky-Springer, and accompanist Kristine Griffin will lead participants in selections from Handel's masterwork, known for the "Hallelujah Chorus" along with other familiar melodies.

The Messiah Choral Society is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization founded in 1973 which has given a free performance of Handel's "Messiah" every year since - the longest running free cultural arts performance in Central Florida. The organization is open to all singers and remains dedicated to providing access and exposure to this masterwork to all Central Floridians regardless of ability to pay.
