Artist and Sign Painter Opens Show and Paints a Sign for Mills50 Business

Kenji Nakayama, a Boston-based artist and sign painter, came to Orlando for the Friday night opening of his solo art show, "The Quick Brown a Fox Jumps Over the Lazy Dog" at Twelve21 Gallery. The gallery, newly moved from Ivanhoe Village to Mills50 inside the Orange Studio, was full of his work which was painted on saws and pieces of wood.

After the opening shut down for the night, Kenji walked across Mills Ave to a freshly primed wooden sign behind Simonet Electric and painted a custom sign for them and the salon next door. It's on Lake Highland near the corner of Mills.

Unfortunately, Simonet Electric is temporarily closed for family reasons.

However, the sign is there so go see it.

Can you spot the sign? (Hint: it's on the right)
