National Night Out is celebrating its 32nd year with events on the first Tuesday of August in more than 16,000 communities across the nation. The City of Orlando remains committed to working with residents and businesses to keep Orlando’s neighborhoods and commercial districts a safe place to live, work and play. During the last 10 years, the City has made a significant investment in public safety and community policing, along with resident and neighborhood partnerships. Due to these efforts, overall crime citywide is down for six of the last seven years, which equates to a 20% decrease since 2007.
