We told you about George Burdock, the Winter Park resident who shot his neighbor's dog in the eye with BB ammunition because the dog approached him aggressively and he was in fear for his safety. Read our list of 10 facts we found inside the police report then read the police report.

Police did not charge him because of this. The owner of the dog says the dog, named Lily was not approaching him aggressively, but Burdock and another witness stated otherwise. The dog was not on a leash at the time of the shooting.

A Facebook group has formed called "George Allan Burdock Shooter of Lilly" in support of pressing charges against Burdock. The statements by members of the group vary from sweet and supportive, loving and kind to downright hateful.
