On July 14, 2015, OLV Cafe (25 W. crystal Lake St, Suite 175, Orlando) inside the SODO shopping center in Downtown South received a tax lien for non payment of $7,318.28 in Orange County Tangible Personal Prioperty taxes.
Unless the amount due was paid to Orange County Tax Collectors office prior to 5pm on July 31, the property was to be disposed of.
During our 3rd Annual Cardboard Art Festival, our Project Manager saw people going into the space removing materials. She didn't speak to the people and doesn't know who they were. After the festival, the space was empty.
If anyone removed property from the premises while under tax lien, they are subject to one year imprionment and/or a $1,000 fine.
We did not research to see if the lien was paid.
The rental agent has not announced what will go into the empty space.
