Orlando City Council approved a partnership with OUC which allows for the installation of 30 new hydration stations at parks, community centers and neighborhood centers.
OUC will pay for 25 percent of the costs to install the new stations and the City will cover the rest with money they saved doing energy retrofits across the city.
These new stations will reduce the number of plastic bottles recycled every year and provide easily accessible, clean water.
