Seaira Jeannin, a St Cloud native, is the new Executive Director of Church Street District as of Friday October 9th.
She comes to the position after serving as Events Manager for UCF Rosen College of Hospitality.
She is excited about the position because of the inherent creative freedom it offers.
She learned about the position opening on Facebook.
The Executive Director job she says is two fold: economic development for the Church Street District businesses and one way to accomplish that is through large events.
Her favorite piece of event management experience prior to coming to Church Street District is a large BBQ event in Kissimmee. It took a year to put on and featured over 90 BBQ teams.
