UCF Might Kick Out Local Restaurants if Aramark Deal is Accepted

In exchange for money to add 750 seats to and a renovation of it's student union dining area, UCF is considering handing over the complete food service contract to Aramark (cafeteria and all restaurants), disallowing any other company from bidding and kicking out some of the locally owned restaurants according to the Orlando Sentinel.

A vote takes place November 19th on whether Aramark should run the student union restaurants. It already runs the cafeteria.

Aramark also runs every food aspect of the student unions at UF, FSU and SF.
