Extended Hours of the City of Orlando Family Assistance Center

To continue to meet the needs of the community, the operations of the Family Assistance Center (Website) is extending.  The Center will remain open next week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, from 3 p.m. to 8 p,m. each day.

The City of Orlando Family Assistance Center (FAC) is a partnership with federal, state, local and community agencies to address the immediate needs and provide information, support and resources to those directly affected by the Pulse tragedy.

Over the past three days since the FAC opened on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, 370 individuals and 125 families have visited to receive help.

The FAC offers services for family members of the deceased; those suffering physical and emotional injuries; club staff and patrons and others directly impacted by this tragedy.

  • Saturday, June 18, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Sunday, June 19, 12 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Additional Hours Announced for the FAC:
  • Monday, June 20, 3 p.m. - 8 p.m.
  • Tuesday, June 21, 3 p.m. - 8 p.m.
  • Wednesday, June 22, 3 p.m. - 8 p.m.
The City recognizes that the FAC is just one part of a long term plan for our community’s recovery and future needs and services will continue to be evaluated.

PUBLIC PARKING:
Individuals visiting the FAC should park in Lot E, entrance off of S Tampa Avenue, west side of stadium. Visitors must then enter into Gate E, take the elevators to Level 2, and check in with FAC staff just outside the West Indoor Club. Staff will be available to guide visitors.

Disabled parking will be available.
