City of Orlando - Preliminary Funding Recommendations
FY 16-17 Arts & Cultural Organizations 

As part of the FY16-17 budget process, City Council approved funding for arts and cultural organizations, which enable the City to have a vibrant community where arts and culture flourish. This request fulfills the City's mission by connecting citizens with local arts and cultural organizations and their activities, through funding support. Approval is being requested for the funding agreements and distribution of approved funds to the agencies in the amounts specified below. 
  • Orlando Science Center $ 493,680.00 
  • United Arts of Central Florida $ 470,570.00 
  • Total $ 964,250.00
