City of Orlando Giving $10,000 to Lake Nona Impact Forum

City of Orlando will contribute $10,000 to assist Lake Nona Institute in hosting the Lake Nona Impact Forum (Website) February 15-17, 2017. In exchange for this contribution the City will receive delegate attendance and logo and brand inclusion.

The Forum is a live event in Lake Nona Medical City which convenes 250 thought leaders from business, academia, government and industry who are driving innovative health and wellness solutions.

Drawing nationally recognized speakers, past events have included: Alex Gorsky, CEO & Chairman, Johnson & Johnson; John Chambers, CEO, Cisco; Thomas Graham, MD, CIO, Cleveland Clinic; Sanjay Gupta, MD, Chief Medical Corespondent, CNN; Arianna Huffington, Chair, President and Editor-in-Chief, Huffington Post Media Group; and The Honorable Robert McDonald, US Secretary of Veterans Affairs.
  1. The Forum is committed to unlocking innovation to create sustainable healthy communities and advance quality of life by exploring the intersections of wellness, sustainable living and education.
  2. It provides a platform to highlight Lake Nona Medical City and the City of Orlando to global leaders as a potential site for headquarters relocation, product development and scientific research. 
The event is put on by the Lake Nona Institute, a non-profit, community-focused organization that incubates, activates and measures the impact of innovative technology and programs with the goal of becoming a global model for constructing healthy, sustainable and inspired communities.
