Downtown's Nine Million Dollar Sidewalk Project Requires MORE Money

The City Council will vote Monday whether to fund $310,000 worth of "metalized finish" upgrades that the Design Builder says is required for the project. Specifically, it's an "upgrade to the finish of the structural material."

This will bring the total for Orlando's most expensive sidewalk to $9,024,000.00.

The eventual goal of this nine million dollar sidewalk is to connect a bike path from Mills50 called the Orlando Urban Trail to a downtown sidewalk called Gertrude's Walk.
