The Milk District's New Executive Director Announced!

The Milk District, which recently became Orlando's newest Main Street district, announced today their very first Executive Director: Robert Soviero.

Soviero is a former director of WPRK 91.5 (website), co-founder of the Juice: Orlando Bike Share program (website) and long time Orlando resident with an immense passion for the city, and specifically, The Milk District.

Two years ago, Robert took a hiatus from the city to travel down to Miami where he was the Operations Manager of Arts Garage (website), a non-profit and community funded arts venue.

“I am beyond pumped to be back in Orlando, and to work with The Milk District to help sustain the growth and uniqueness of what is by far my favorite district/community in all of Central Florida…I’d like to utilize all of my past experiences in the city and my most recent experiences from Miami, and then bunch them all up in a massive, magic bag of ideas…building the mission and cohesive goals of everyone involved, and then move on to promoting The Milk District as a successful place for future business owners, and hosting great new events.”

The Milk District board stated they believe Robert is the perfect person to unify their neighborhood, capture and promote the character of the district and deliver their community what it wants…more Milk.

"Honestly though, I've just really always wanted to be a milk man, so I think this is the next best thing….”

Locals can meet and mingle with the new Executive Director Sunday, January 15th from 1-3pm at Barley & Vine Biergarten. Located at 2406 E Washington St, Orlando FL 32803.
