Modern Homesteading Class Series An afternoon of classes on backyard chickens, preserving and canning, vegetable gardening in Central Florida and pickling your own vegetables await guests during the Modern Homestead Class Series taking place Sunday 1pm-4pm at the Alafaya branch of Orange County Public Library at 12000 E. Colonial Drive (MAP). FREE

Dapper Day Weekend Dress up in vintage clothing for two days of elegant fun with thousands of other well-dressed guests during Dapper Day Weekend. Tonight meet up for "Dapper Day Eve" 8 to 11 at Disney Springs Boathouse restaurant. Saturday wear your bow ties and bobby socks in the Magic Kingdom then change your tie and change your bobby sicks for Sunday at Epcot. Sunday night is a private event in the Living Seas Lounge. Mount Dora Blueberry Festival The lakefront in downtown Mount Dora will feature several blueberry farms, a ticketed IHOP Pancake Breakfast, homemade Blueberry pies and a restaurant tour called "I Found My Thrill on Blueberry Hill." Free admission for the festival. Tickets for sale for the special events. 

Orlando FunkFest A large concert featuring Charlie Wilson, Fantasia, Mystikal, Joe and Da Brat is happening Saturday April 29th 3pm-8pm at Central Florida Fairgrounds 4603 W. Colonial Drive (MAP) $40 Tickets
Cringe Readings from embarrassing elementary and middle school journals are performed live, then acted out by professional comedy improvisors at the show called Cringe taking place this Saturday at 5:30 at SAK Comedy Lab in downtown Orlando. $14 Tickets

Say Hello Adoption Event In honor of the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando's 80th anniversary celebration, the organization is holding an adoption event with the goal of getting 80 pets adopted. food trucks, raffles, adoption specials, and more Saturday 10am to 3pm at Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando at 2727 Conroy Rd (MAP). Oddlando Sketch Kvlt A monthly gathering of artists, photographers and creative types get together to sketch models which are chosen in direct opposition to the standards of beauty and societal norms. The evening is hosted by local Orlando artist Vaughn Belak on Sunday April 30th 7pm-10pm at Carmine Boutique 2708 N. Orange Blvd (MAP). $10 at the door. 

High Tea & Hats A proper afternoon luncheon with traditional tea fare including finger sandwiches, fresh fruits and cheeses, petit desserts and a wide selection of teas at the Seniors First 10th Annual High Tea & Hats! Silent and chance auctions, a hat parade (hats are encouraged), kids hat contest, at Sunday 2pm-5pm at Rosen Plaza at 9700 International Drive (MAP). Proceeds go directly to support programs like Meals on Wheels, In-Home Care, and Homemaking services to keep seniors living safe, healthy and independent lives in their own homes. $40 tickets.
