We told you April 11th that the restaurant taking over the former Smiling Bison space at 745 Bennet Road (MAP) will be called Blue Jacket Grille (Facebook). The owners shared interior construction photos on their facebook page which we have displayed below.
Blue Jacket Grille is expected to open in May with no exact date set yet. The menu will be American casual consisting of burgers, wings, sandwiches and flatbreads. 20 beers will be on tap and 25-30 craft beers will be in stock. The name comes from the blue jacket training ship that was once present at the naval training base. That base closed and is now Baldwin Park.
