A new organic shared garden program designed to serve Central Florida breast cancer patients and their families will have its ribbon cutting May 16 at 2:30pm 899 Coy Dr. Orlando, FL 32803.

The garden project, a 29’ x 17’ raised bed garden box in the shape of an awareness ribbon, is co-founded by Melissa Etheridge and Orlando’s Robin Maynard of Libby's Legacy. It's located inside Lake Druid Park, the largest community garden in Central Florida, and

The land was offered by The City of Orlando for the project and the structure was designed by Libby's Legacy, built by their volunteers, painted pink and planted by survivors. Each survivor will tend the garden and for each bag harvested, the survivor will collect another bag for a patient in current treatment.
