Take Out Restaurant Will Stay 14 Years in City-Owned Retail Space

Since 2006, Lilia’s Grilled Delights has operated the 325 sq ft take-out café business leased from the City of Orlando located within the Library Parking Garage at 132 E. Central Blvd (MAP). The Lease expires on July 31, 2017 and both the City and Lilia's wish to enter a new agreement. City Council will vote on it June 19th.

Rent for the initial term will rise from $370.50 be $450.35 per month ($5,404.20 annually) and will increase 5% per year thereafter.

The new lease will be for 3 years with two 1-year extensions at the City's discretion.

The City's purpose in leasing this space is to promote the Central Business District by encouraging retail businesses and services with the intent of encouraging pedestrian traffic.
