Downtown Corner Lot Across From Orlando Sentinel Property Will Go Up for Sale

The ±1.422 acre site at 107 Hillcrest Street (MAP) is owned by The Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida. It's currently used as the Women's Residential and Counseling Center. They wish to sell the property.

Before they do, however, they want to establish a framework for redevelopment of the property. So, the Coalition has requested a growth management plan amendment to Downtown Activity Center and a new subarea policy for the future redevelopment of the property. The request also includes a Planned Development rezoning for a framework PD.

This project, called Colonial & Magnolia Redevelopment, is tentatively scheduled for a public hearing at the Municipal Planning Board on November 21, 2017.
