The Viennese coffee brand Julius Meinl is coming to Orlando. The coffee company started in 1862 but it wasn't until 2009 that it created a coffee product for the restaurant industry. The brand opened its one and only coffee shop in America in Chicago which is now closed.
The coffee brand will be served at College Park's Tartine Wine Bar & Eaterie, the new identity of Croissant Gourmet according to Orlando Weekly. The owner and new Executive Chef Pete Morales are turning the eatery into a 100% French restaurant... with a coffee brand made 12 hours and 15 minutes from France.
Morales is the former Executive Chef at Lake Mary's F&D Kitchen & Bar. The menu will include tartines, house made bread, sharable plates and pastries.
