The folks behind the $15 Taco Tuesdays all you can eat meal deal (5pm til midnight Tuesdays only) coming to downtown have been working hard to make their announced opening date of January 23rd. Chela Tequila and Tacos' window clings have gone up, furniture's been turned on its side and new metal multi-colored chairs were spotted this week by The Daily City as we snuck and slunk around the window-laden exterior like Gollum taking photos and making those inside wonder if they should call the cops on us.
Chela will also have Sunday Brunch 10am – 6pm and UnWine’d Wednesdays 5pm – 9pm.
The restaurant is set to open in the former KASA location at 183 Orange Ave in downtown. It's also owned by the KASA owners.
