A new-to-Orlando restaurant chain California Tortilla opened a location at 54 W. Church St. They serve burritos and burrito bowls, tacos, salads, quesadillas, nachos, fajitas and chili. Their tacos aren't your average dough flappers squished with fillin's: they specialize in street tacos.
Of course they won't compare to the street tacos we ate during our Taco Truck Taste Tests, but for downtown workers, any new source of a halfway decent lunch is welcome from what we hear.
On opening day they gave away free food so a lot of locals showed up.
