By Mark Baratelli Thornton Park 11 is a 13-unit project with 11 townhomes in 3 buildings and a duplex located at 1000 E. Robinson St. & 211 N. Hyer St. The goal of the design is to maximize building frontage along Robinson and Hyer while maintaining a building scale and density appropriate with the zoning.
The duplex at 211 N. Hyer is on property zoned R-2A, which requires low intensity development to be consistent with the Growth Management Plan. It's a 2-unit building on 7,000 sq ft of land. It's also designed to reduce scale to be compatible with adjacent properties to the south.
The project goes before the Municipal Planning Board May 15th.
