This past week you may have noticed an eclectic mural on the front of Orlando's Orange Studio. ArtReach Orlando sponsored a mural workshop led by renowned street artist Boy Kong culminating in a public art piece to be hosted in the heart of Orlando’s street art mecca, Mills/50.
For those who may not be familiar with ArtReach Orlando, it is a program that has been offering project specific grants to teaching artists and community organizations to create works of art with children in our service areas. Their goal is to encourage and empower artists in our community to build a greater sense of community, from the children participating in their workshops to the artists and adults involved in organizing the events.
ArtReach Orlando is committed to opening doors of discovery through art by bringing the arts to children and communities in Orange County, Florida. ArtReach Orlando is a 501 c 3 non-profit arts outreach program that works with children in under-served communities, exploring the nexus between art and social justice.
