Broken Speech (the team representing Orlando) did well at the National Poetry Slam in Wisonsin this past Wed and Thurs. Wednesday, they came in 3rd against Silver City, Cleveland, and Vancouver by half a point. Thursday, they took 2nd against Seattle, Tuscon, and Dallas by .9.
Orlando did not make semi-finals but outranked 36 other teams at the national competition. Congrats to Curtis Meyer, Ronin, Sania, Reggie, and Rebecca Webb.
