So if you don't know by now, the GLBT Theatre Festival has suffered greatly recently:
1. The Fundraiser to be held on September 11th got canceled at the very last second.Having said all that, I think the best thing to do is to focus on what the festival has got going for it: some new-play readings coming up. Attend, support and enjoy.
2. The Artistic Director of the festival, Matty McDermid, stepped down.
3. Three productions were planned, two got canceled awhile ago, and the remaining one, Elegies, just got canceled.
4. There are accusations flying via email about all sorts of wild things.
