Get library stash on iphone: save money at B&N

The Orange County Public Library has homeless people a new iPhone-optimized version of the library's catalog.
"Amazon makes it real easy for you to get to their materials. We need to make it just as easy for the library patron to get to our materials," said Eric Atkinson, the information systems department head for the library system.

Having a site like this at your disposal means the next time you are at Borders thinking of buying a book, you can pull out your iPhone and quickly see if the book is available at the library, reserve it and even arrange to have it delivered to your house.
Either sign-up to be a beta tester so you can have a hand in improving the existing site for future users, or go ahead and use the current version.

If you don’t have an iPhone, you can access a mobile version of the library catalog on other cell phones. When you visit the library site on your phone and click on the catalog, it will detect that you are using a phone and will display a stripped down version of the catalog. (Source)
