Orlando 24 hour film festival, where teams will write, film and edit together a 3-5 minute short film from 9am on Jan. 31st to 9am February 1st. The competition will include a packet that will be picked up at 9 am at Premiere Cinemas. Inside the packet will be two genres to choose from and a list of 15 objects of which the teams must incorporate three in the film. The packet will also include talent release forms, location release forms and the most important, a blank DVD which they will return the short film on. All must be sealed in the packet before 9 am into the designated drop zone at Premiere Cinemas. It will be a fast paced, action packed, thrilling 24-hour competition like none have experienced before.
The following Sunday, February 8th, we will be hosting the screenings of the top 24 films as well as the awards ceremony following the films. It will take place at Premiere Cinemas in the Fashion Square Mall and all of the films will be shown on the big screen.
