Tempest goes to Africa

Black and white boys agree: theatre is not just for the gays

The The Valencia Character Company is adding an "African aesthetic, with native-looking spirits and voodoo/Santeria influences" to their upcoming production of Shakespeare's The Tempest. "Island drummers" will punctuate and underscore the action as well. Please take some pictures during the show so I can see how this turns out.
