Sam Singhous, or as he might be better known to Orlando audiences, Miss Sammy, is of course a local celeb. But did you know he started out as a Broadway performer? He was in the original Broadway cast of La Cage aux Folles Aug 21, 1983 - Nov 15, 1987. Today I was siftig through my photos, trying to find some to submit to the 2009 Visual Fringe (those submissions are being accepted today and tomorrow FYI) and came across a photo I took of a photo of Miss Sammy getting done-up for La Cage. The photo was in an exhibit at the Lincoln Center Performing Arts Library.
