I had a brief conversation with a someone at the Jersey Boys opening night party Friday night and the topic of support versus criticism in the arts came up. I think change can come about through both means, depending on the situation, and I have experienced both myself personally. Others think you should only say positive things publicly so you don't anger those in powerful positions. Take this little survey and I will share the results.
