Cabaret Day
Today, July 5, 2009, at the P-House, two mini-events involving singing and cabaret are taking place. The first one is free, the second is ten bucks. And if I remember correctly, the drinks are cheap for both. Happy Sunday!
Sing in public
Now till 4pm (hurry and go!), a live pianist in the cabaret room plays accompaniment for you to sing kareoke to. Live piano music, horrible singers and a gaggle of gays arguing about show tunes. Rock!
Someone who knows how to sing, singing in public
Singer Andrea Canny is only charging ten bucks for a full cabaret set in the theatre behind the cabaret room, accompanied by John DeHaas. No one beats the Hodos, but from what I hear, she comes close.
