Mark Baratelli in collaboration with visual artist Dawn Schreiner (who's show Oodles of Doodles opens Saturday October 4, 2009) present the 2009 TheDailyCity.com Halloween Photo Contest. The winner will receive a custom 8" x 10" sketch/painting of their submitted Halloween costume photo by artist Dawn Schreiner.
How to Enter:
1. Send one (1) of your photos (you must own the rights to the photo) of something to do with Halloween that you'd love made into a sketch/painting. It can feature a crazy costume (past, present, future), baby's first Halloween, your awesome Halloween decor, a bloody zombie attacking you at Halloween Horror Nights, a knife fight, pogo stick race gone wrong, anything, but it must be (a) HALLOWEEN and (b) contain no nudity, vulgarity, or tasteless slander.**By sending in the photo, you grant TheDailyCity.com permission to run the photo and the sketch/painting on its site, facebook, twitter and and any other current or future advertising adventures.
2. Send the photo to: MARK at THEDAILYCITY dot COM. Include the photo (attached to the email or a url link to the photo if its stored online), your first and last name and phone number at which we can contact you.
3. Deadline: November 5th 11:59pm. That gives you 5 extra days to do Halloween, pick your best photo and send it in.
4. I pick my favorite and I send the photo off to artist Dawn Schreiner.
5. I contact the winner (maybe you!) to let them know they won.
6. When the painting/sketch is done, I will contact the winner again (maybe you!) and let you know where and when you can pick up your custom sketch/painting.
