Mayor Buddy Dyer is giving what is being called a "state of downtown address" Thursday, October 15, 2009, 11:15 a.m. 1:00 pm at the Plaza Cinema Cafe (155 S. Orange Ave., Orlando, FL 32801). Tickets (yes, tickets) are $40 (yes, $40) and can be purchased here. I emailed them asking for a press pass, and they told me they don't have "free seats" and would forward my request to the City of Orlando. Thanks.
