The best possible way to experience visits from the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future is in a glorious Victorian Tea Room setting - while enjoying delicious cookies and a pot of freshly-brewed hot tea with a community of friends and family, as we share all together in this long loved tale.
I wrote the director, John DiDonna to find out more about the project:
How will the tea be served? The table setting in the photo above is merely for display purposes and not meant to represent what you will see at this event. This is what you will see at when you have coffee at The Plaza in New York City.
We have tea china in a victorian setting, 1 to 2 China teapots on each table. The linens are holiday colors. People will be sitting at 8 tops and 6 tops. Each table is lit with only candles (which are blown out for the final presentation of the Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come)
Is the room decorated?
The room is decorated for Christmas. The feel is a Victorian Tea Room at Christmas.
Are the actors costumed?
Fully costumed (three actors, pieces put ontop). And the show is interactive, it is played in and amongst the tables and the patrons - and the audience becomes a part of the story (we even get some to portray small roles)
