At Orlando Fringe 2007, I was a judge in a poetry slam around 11pm at night, out in "The Green" sitting next to Beth Marshall. I was floored at how good the presentations were (and how good my free wine was) and I kept saying (on the mic, in front of an audience, wine in belly) "You guys need to do a Fringe show!" One of those people in the slam was J. Bradley:Poet/writer J. Bradley will be a featured performer at "Wednesday Open Words" at Austin's Film and Coffee (929 W. Fairbanks Ave., Winter Park, Fl 32789) at 8pm on November 25, 2009. He'll perform his poem "How Esmeralda Estrus Got Her Revenge." Bradley will also be touring across the country for book signings, performances, and workshops in support of his first published bookDodging Traffic.
