Obama Administration homeownership preservation workshop for Orlando homeowners

House, Florala, Alabama
At 12:00 pm EST on Thursday, December 3, the Obama Administration will hold a homeownership preservation workshop for all Orlando homeowners at risk of foreclosure. The workshop is free and open to the public, and is a chance for homeowners to meet face-to-face with their mortgage company and HUD-approved housing counselors to work on a possible solution to help them stay in their home.

Orlando is the nineteenth stop in a nationwide campaign to promote the Making Home Affordable Program, a plan to stabilize the housing market and help millions of Americans reduce their monthly mortgage payments to more affordable levels. The campaign targets markets that have been hit hard by foreclosures, with the goal of empowering local housing partners to connect homeowners with much needed relief under the Administration’s Making Home Affordable Program.
