We're pleased to announce the curator of the 2nd Annual Audience Choice Awards: Jeremy Seghers. The awards will be unveiled in early 2010, displayed May 20-31 and given out May 31 to twenty participants of the 2010 Orlando Fringe.
Each one must create a custom piece of art that coveys the idea of "award," in which ever medium they choose.

Why do awards have a an art curator? Each of the 20 awards is an original, custom piece of art and each is created by an individual visual artist. Someone needs to find the artists. Jeremy has the difficult task of chosing each artist and collecting the completed pieces by March 1, 2010.
There are so many wonderful artists in town, and Jeremy, having curated for Dandelion Communitiea's monthly art shows, has gotten to know many of them.
