Events for Change, Inc. is organizing the Orlando Chili Cook-off* in Baldwin Park Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Corrine Commons (Baldwin Park) 1913 Meeting Place Orlando, Fl 32814. $7 entry fee, which includes samples of all the competing chilies. Gates open at 12 noon. All proceeds of the Orlando Chili Cook-off to benefit Special Olympics Florida.
Judges include Orlando City Commissioner Robert F. Stuart, TV personality and professional chef Jon Ashton, and Mitch English of the Daily Buzz. Festival attendees will also get the chance to vote for their favorite chili contender to win the People’s Choice award.
Local foodies and families will enjoy chili samples from local chefs, residents, and previous chili cook off champions. Local bands and business owners will also be on hand.
