This is not-pay, but sounds fun:
FAMU will be hosting an American Bar Association Client Counseling Competition on February 12th and 13th. We need actors to serve as clients to be interviewed by the student competitors. We need twelve (12) actors on Friday from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. On Saturday, we need three (3) actors from 9 a.m. until noon. The clients will be given a script of basic facts and are allowed to add personal facts that are consistent with the character. All of the actors/clients will be involved in some sort of white collar criminal activity for which they need to consult a lawyer. I will brief the clients on consistency. It is an improvisational experience where the information shared depends on the relationship the client establishes with the student lawyers and the questions asked by the lawyers. It is a fun and challenging opportunity. Anyone interested in serving as a client should contact Bill Henslee at: william.henslee@famu.edu or (407) 254-3220.
