The popular downtown warehouse night time happening "iMove" is back as "iMove_2.0: iCandy" for two nights only with all new projections, performance art, choreography, conversation, video games, new and old media, wine and live DJ sets. DON'T put your cell phones away, DO talk to the person next to you, DO text the performers and DO take photos. The night is a little Brooklyn, a little Miami and a lot "What is going on?" The collaborations Voci Dance and its Artistic Director Genevieve Bernard have going with Performance Artist Brian Feldman, Photographer Matthew Simantov, Choreographers Mary Clymene, Leah Marke, Amanda Oost, and Adrienne Nichols and DJ Nigel John capture your focus as they're happening and return the focus back to your conversation, repeatedly throughout the night. Talk, watch, repeat.Full Disclosure: Voci Dance is a client of mine for this show.
