The Baldwin Park Merchants Association & The Arts Hub Florida present The Art Stroll of Baldwin Park on New Broad Street, Downtown Baldwin Park, Thursday, May 13, 2010 6pm-9pm. Free & open to the public.
"The Art Stroll has gained popularity quickly," stated Jason Lee of The Arts Hub, "and we are delighted to have such demand that the event is now happening on a monthly basis." The event, less than three years old, features some of Central Florida’s emerging and accomplished artists displaying & creating original works of fine art along the sidewalks, and live music by local talent. Each month one deserving artist will be awarded the Austin Arts Hub Scholarship to pay for their booth space.
The Arts Hub is pleased to highlight the artists of Divine Chi for This Art Stroll. Trevor & Nikki Neigebauer create unique pieces inspired by positive thinking, giving back to the community, celebrating life, and most of all, gratitude. Trevor uses oils to finger paint peaceful works, and Nikki uses mixed media elements to further enhance each painting. Together they create a yin and yang of two different but complimentary energies.
The music this month will be provided by The Forefathers, a quartet, performing original World Music Fusion. Formed in 2004, the band blends various genres such as Celtic, New Age, African, Folk, & Rock into an energizing & uplifting sound.
The Baldwin Park Merchant’s Association sponsors this event. The Art Stroll has already attracted a lively crowd of community residents, and visiting groups have now begun to notice this exciting new place in the City of Orlando.
For an exciting evening experience in the lovely Florida springtime weather, nothing beats a beautiful outdoor activity. Come visit Orlando’s most recent special place, Baldwin Park, and view local and regional art in the making.
