Free Electronic Waste Collection 9am-1pm Saturday, June 12th, 2010 Orlando Festival Park (2911 E. Robinson Street, near Primrose Drive and Robinson Street Intersection). All Orlando residents (no businesses please) are welcome.
"In response to our ever changing technology and fragile environment, Keep Orlando Beautiful is holding an electronic waste collection to recycle and keep this type of waste out of the landfill. Orlando residents (no businesses please) can bring their old electronics to a centrally located, convenient location.
Residents will not even have to get out of the car. While electronics are unloaded, residents may fill out a raffle ticket for a chance to win a brand new laptop. One entry per household will be accepted."
What Can Be Recycled?
Computers – CPU’s and laptops, mainframes, peripherals
Monitors – CRT’s and flat screens
Telephones, Cell phones and Telephone systems
Fax Machines and Central Office Equipment
Printers and Copiers
Televisions
Banking and Financial Equipment
Medical Equipment
Rechargeable batteries
Electronic Circuit boards and components
Stereo Equipment, Games, PDA’s
