Slow Food Orlando is doing "a celebration of Central Florida flavors with a farmer's market twist" called Farmers Market Dinner (downnload a
pdf about it) at Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando (6300 Hollywood Way, Orlando, FL). On April 16, 2010, "enjoy live entertainment as you stroll through the Islands Dining Room and sample some local fare prepared by the exquisite chefs at the resort, made with products from some of our region's farmers." The event will also showcase beers from Orlando Brewing and drinks made with 4 Orange Premium Vodka, crafted from the citrus that made Florida famous. Live entertainment and select wines will also be included.
