Mulan Jr at Osceola Center for the Arts

The Center Children’s Theatre will present Disney’s Mulan, Jr. May 14 – 16, 2010 on their Main Stage at the Osceola Center for the Arts.

Based on the 1998 Disney film Mulan, this stage adaptation takes audience members back to the legendary, story-telling days of ancient China. The Huns have invaded, and it is up to the misfit Mulan and her mischievous sidekick Mushu to save the Emperor! Mulan, Jr. is a heartwarming celebration of culture, honor and a fighting spirit. Musical numbers include “Reflection,” “Honor to Us All” and “I’ll Make a Man Out of You”.

Music and Lyrics were written by Matthew Wilder, David Zippel, Stephen Schwartz, Jeanine Tesori and Alexa Junge. The show will be directed by Stephanie Day and Jennifer Henderson and will be performed by young actors ages 10 – 14 who are involved with the Center Children’s Theatre program.
