Orlando Fringe 2010 | Merchandise Vendors on The Green

The Green is the center of Orlando Fringe downtime. Its the great expanse of lawn situated between The Rep (Orlando's premiere multi-venue children's theatre factory) and the Orlando Shakespare Theatre (Free wifi haaaaay!). The Green is where people wander when they're waiting for a show to start, want to socialize or hand out flyers for people to throw into the trash. (Busking does NOT work in Orlando!)

We've got the round-up of merchandise vendors who'll be sitting outside all day beneath flimsy tents hoping people who've already spent hundreds on show tickets will want to spend more. The first few days of Fringe, they're all out there, bright eyed and high as an IBEX kite. As Fringe dwindles and they've faced days of being ignored, you notice the merchandise vendors no longer even showing up. Well, I mean, you put stuff out there and if they didn't buy it on the first three days, will they magically change their minds? Its the same audiences every day looking at the same stuff. No.
