Orlando Fringe Recommendation: Lucky 9

TJ Dawe is loved by Orlando Fringe and always offers high quality pieces. Don't miss his newest show.
Lucky 9 is a new one person show written and performed by TJ Dawe (blog, twitter). After playing the Orlando Fringe every year since 2001 (with a string of hits including The Slipknot, A Canadian Bartender at Butlin’s, Totem Figures) TJ missed 2009. Well, he’s back. Lucky 9 is an autobiographical monologue about how TJ used the HBO show The Wire, the books of Vancouver based doctor Gabor Mate, and the personality type system The Enneagram to develop as a person and reach out to his family. “TJ Dawe knows how to tell a story better than just about anyone else” - Now Magazine, “Dawe is a flawless performer” - Charleston City Paper, “Unnervingly captivating, increasingly edgy and brilliantly funny” - Adelaide Advertiser. Lucky 9 plays at the Goldman Theatre (Yellow Venue) and runs a mere 55 minutes - TJ’s shortest show in years!
