Orlando Youth Theatre was supposed to produce an all-youth (under 21 years old) production of the AIDS/drag/1990s/New York City story of RENT as part of the 2010 Orlando Fringe Festival May 20-31, 2010. It was supposed to be 1/3 of TriumveRENTertainment spectacle taking place in the city, wherein three companies were putting on three productions of the same show in the same year. And not just any types of companies. A children's theatre, a community theatre and a college. MAGIC!
Well now, the rule of threes has been broken as Orlando Youth Theatre has canceled their Fringe production and moved it to... a parking garage. Ok, its a black box theatre inside a parking garage to be fair. Its called the Studio Theatre (398 West Amelia Street, Orlando FL, 32801). Tickets are $10.00 and available by calling 407-254-4930.

A note from the Orlando Fringe Producer: "Please note- To avoid ALL confusion ( Orlando Youth Theatre's Studio Theatre is NOT the same Studio Theatre (Blue Venue) at Orlando Shakes where Fringe is held. To make things even more confusing- the actual Fringe office is at the same addy as the venue the show will now be held yet the two now have no relationship.
