Mother Falcon (817 E. Washington Street, Orlando, FL) is a custom t-shirt shop, but is really getting into the art show scene now, hosting artist shows and becoming a must-visit gallery on Third Thursdays downtown gallery hop and any Thursday really.

On Thursday, July 8, 2010 7-10pm, they will be will be hosting Orlando artist Brice Stephens. Free beer will be served. Music provided by DJ Diddles.

Artist Brice Stephens' paintings are ink and acrylic on glass, created on windowpanes, many of which remain in their original frame, and doorframes. Stephens primarily paints nude women. He works backwards to produce an effect on the back of the glass. This process was once economical and expressive, but throughout his career he has stayed true to this format and technique. Stephens has been called the most recognizable artist in the avante garde regional scene and has been compared to expressionist Egon Schiele.
